The following examples were produced working directly from original swords.
This was an individual reproduction made for a local Museum.
These swords were commissioned for Issue to the Kings Guard of Norway.

We do not often reproduce swords from the18th to the 20th centuries as they were generally made in quantity and many examples still survive.
To get an insight into the evolution of British pattern swords, with documented accounts including effectiveness in battle, design problems, recommendations for improvements etc. I strongly recommend the National Army Museums' book;
Swords of the British Army, The Regulation Patterns, 1788 to 1914 by Brian Robson.
